Working with Dare to Detour means you’ll never travel alone, at least not when it comes to planning or support. We begin with a heartfelt conversation so I can truly understand your dreams, budget, and needs. Then, I design a tailored itinerary that brings more ease, depth, and possibility to your journey. I’m here as your advocate, guide, and confidante throughout your trip, including live support during your travels.

I craft a custom proposal with top-level trip flow, hotel options, and unique experiences. We refine together until it’s just right, then I handle the bookings and details.

Travel

You go, fully prepped! Access your itinerary on the Fora app (works offline) and reach me by text or WhatsApp for anything that comes up.

Fee Structure

I charge a simple, transparent fee: $35/day of booked travel for your entire group or family, covering every detail from full itineraries to on-the-go support. If you just need hotel bookings, there’s no fee. My commission comes directly from the property.

  • I’m selective about the cruises I book, focusing only on those that prioritize sustainability and conservation. I especially love arranging Nat Geo cruises, which emphasize environmental stewardship and educational experiences. I also enjoy booking smaller riverboat cruises that are committed to responsible travel practices. If you’re interested in a cruise that aligns with these values, I’d be excited to help you plan one!

  • My primary focus is on Italy, the UK, and the American West. Destinations where I have deep knowledge and strong connections. For other regions, I’m happy to explore new destinations in collaboration with repeat clients who are familiar with my travel style and trust my approach. If you’re a returning client and you’d like to travel somewhere outside my core specialties, I can leverage Fora’s global network or bring in an expert partner to ensure you have an incredible experience. However, for regions like Asia, I generally don’t plan trips for brand new clients until we’ve worked together and I have a good sense of your preferences and travel style. This ensures I can deliver the standard of service and personalization you expect.
